You're probubly wondering what my characters sound like. I watch A LOT of anime and cartoons in general. Here are some references to have in mind as to what I picture my characters sounding like. If you don't know of the games or shows, refer to Wiki.

Koh Ito played by Andrew Francis
Possibly my favorite VA ever. He played in MegaMan NT Warrior as the star, and as Dilandau in Escaflowne.

Tia Cree played by the VA who did Rynka is Radiata Stories (can't find her name)
Rynka was sexy-sounding, and she didn't sound out of place as a tough girl either. I really like her. I think the VA did a great job. Tia was always a little like her before and fater that. But chance, even before I play Radiata Stories, Tia wore a bandana like Rynka (except Tia's is always white or gold).

Lin "Snow" Lian played by Hynden Walch
This VA did Starfire in the show Teen Titans. I liked that characters voice. She sounded sweet and kind without being overly sweet to the point of vomit enducing.

Gaven played by Khary Payton
Another Teen Titan VA. he did Cyborg, but I liked the way he does another character's voice in the show better. A character named Hareld. People seems to have a dislike for the show over all. But I think a lot of decent US VA can be found in it. Slade is the best by far!

Giri "QuickDraw" Shinwa played by Kirby Morrow
He played as Miroku in Inuyasha, but the reason I wanted him was the slightly younger sound of his voice as ElecMan is MegaMan NT Warrior. He also did Van is Escaflowne and Cyclops in X-Men Evolution.

Ask me if you'd like to hear about more. I keep them all written down. I will close with saying this, Grendel would have to be done by the VA of Gaspard in Dark Cloud2, Rino Romano. Bravo. Fucking BRAVO!

Haha, those are some nice choices for voice actors. I'll keep it in mind while reading. XD

Oh, and I love the range of expressions on this page. Very nice.

I noticed Koh seems to hit a different emotional mark per panel here. He's just running circles around Gaven as far as facial muscles are concerned. ^~

Oh-ho, v/a talk huh?

Can't go wrong with Kirby Morrow - as Prince Aikka in Oban Star-Racers he plays it serious with the audience hoping he's on the side of the just, but not entirely sure.

Humm, do I really want to picture Dilandau (of all people) talking here...? *thinking out loud* ^~

Ahh, Hynden Walch; especially enjoyable as Amy Stapleton on IGPX. (I'm, like, on of two people on this entire site that even knows this. I mean, I don't *hate* Teen Titans, but it sure as hell overshadowed/buried EVERYTHING else out there. XD; ) Also, Amy's a better point of reference as she's more natural sounding and less "grammatical". (...in fact, her role is quite similar to Snow's) :D

Thanks! My sister and lil'brother still say I should do Gaven's voice, and I still have actress Nia Long in mind for Tia.

If you download a dubbed epi of a show called MegaMan NT Warrior you'll hear a calmer Andrew Francis than Dilandau. Also another would be the dub of DotHack ROOTS. That's how Koh sounds, it just that he moves fast and taunts loadly when he does, so I picked a VA that was good at yelling and taunting. That's also the reason behind his variety of expressions and Gaven constantly stare.

Did Walch do the girl with the cat in that show. I was only able to see the last 6 episodes of it.

Yes, that's her. XD Though you probably missed some of the better episodes that showcased her by then.. ::may do IGPX fanart sometime later:: just because it is so terribly overlooked. =(

oh wow once again you prove that you've put so much thought into this! ill have to check out those VA's if i can i'm really curious to see how you picture the Voices in your head. it'll be interesting to imagine those voices when i read further pages..

It's hard to do sometimes. But for main characters it comes natural. I see too many great artists sum up their characters with generic terms. "the sexy one", "the ladies man", and "the peppy one"....etc...
